Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • hot water - 1 c
  • blueberries - 2 c
  • melted shortening - 3 Tbsp

How to make blueberry pudding cake:

Put blueberries in bottom of 8 x 8-inch pan. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, melted shortening, 1/2 cup sugar and milk. Spread over berries. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, cornstarch and water. Pour over mix. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Serve warm or cold with whipped topping.
