Ingredients/Components

  • butter, softened - 3 Tbsp
  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • unbaked 9-inch pastry shell - 1 item
  • plain flour - 2 Tbsp
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • chopped pecans or walnuts - 3 Tbsp
  • blackberries *

How to make blackberry pie:

Combine first 6 ingredients; beat 5 minutes at medium speed or until smooth. Fold in blackberries. Pour filling into pastry shell; bake at 400° for 25 minutes.

Combine remaining ingredients, stirring well; sprinkle over top of pie. Bake 10 additional minutes. Chill before serving.

*Blueberries can be substituted, if you prefer.
