Blackberry pie
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 3 Tbsp
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- unbaked 9-inch pastry shell - 1 item
- plain flour - 2 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- chopped pecans or walnuts - 3 Tbsp
- blackberries *
How to make blackberry pie:
Combine first 6 ingredients; beat 5 minutes at medium speed or until smooth. Fold in blackberries. Pour filling into pastry shell; bake at 400° for 25 minutes.Combine remaining ingredients, stirring well; sprinkle over top of pie. Bake 10 additional minutes. Chill before serving.
*Blueberries can be substituted, if you prefer.
