Ingredients/Components
- blackberries or plums fresh or frozen - 2 qt
- sugar - 2 c
- cornstarch - 5 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- margarine or butter - 1 c
- brown sugar
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- uncooked oatmeal - 2 c
- flour
- baking powder - 1 tsp
How to make blackberry crumble:
Cook first 4 ingredients together until thick. It may be necessary to break fresh berries to produce juice. Set aside this filling mixture. Cut butter into dry ingredients.
