  • sugar - 1 c
  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • margarine or butter - 1/2 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • margarine
  • chocolate, melted - 4 sq

How to make fudge ribbon cake:

Filling:2 Tbsp. margarine8 oz. cream cheese1/4 c. sugar1 Tbsp. cornstarch1 egg2 Tbsp. milk1 tsp. vanilla Cake: Sift first 5 ingredients into mixing bowl. Add milk and margarine which has been softened (not melted). Beat for 2 minutes. Add eggs, chocolate and vanilla and beat 2 minutes longer.

Filling: Cream first 4 ingredients; add egg, milk and vanilla and beat well. Put half the cake batter into a 9 x 13-inch sheet pan. Spread on the filling and then the remaining batter. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes. Frost with chocolate frosting.
