Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • melted butter - 4 Tbsp
  • egg whites, stiffly beaten - 3 item
  • egg yolks, well beaten - 3 item
  • sifted Swans Down cake flour - 2 c

How to make best waffles:

Sift flour once. Add baking powder and salt and sift again. Combine egg yolks and milk. Add flour, beating until smooth. Add butter. Fold in egg whites. Bake in hot waffle iron.
