Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 2 Tbsp
  • oil
  • soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
  • fresh ginger, chopped fine - 1/2 tsp
  • green pepper, sliced lengthwise - 1 c
  • beef, cut in small thin slices - 1 lb
  • soup stock beef bouillon - 1 c

How to make beef with peppers:

Heat pan, add 1 1/2 tablespoons oil and 1 clove garlic, crushed. When garlic browns, remove. Add beef, fry a few minutes. Do not agitate very much. Season with salt and pepper. Add one cup soup stock and continue to cook for a few seconds.

Add mixture to pan of 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 1 tablespoon soy sauce and 2 tablespoon water; blend thoroughly before adding. Cook until sauce thickens. Add 1 cup green peppers, sliced lengthwise. Add 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger; heat thoroughly.
