Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • flour - 2 tsp
  • margarine - 1/4 c
  • paprika - 1/4 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • can tomato soup - 1 item
  • can water - 1 item
  • Accent - 1/4 tsp
  • to 3 garlic cloves, minced - 1 item
  • lean beef - 1 to
  • can mushroom pieces and broth - 1 item

How to make beef stroganoff:

Cut lean beef into 3/4-inch cubes; season with salt and pepper. Flour, then brown in margarine. Add onion, garlic, soups, mushrooms, broth and water. Simmer for an hour or until beef is thoroughly tender. Just before serving, stir in the Accent, sour cream and paprika. Heat until just to the boiling point and serve over rice or Chinese crisp noodles.
