Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- oil - 3 Tbsp
- diced onion - 1 c
- celery, chopped - 1/2 c
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- stew beef - 1 lb
- potatoes, cut in large pieces - 2 c
- or 3 carrots, cut in chunks - 2 item
How to make beef stew:
Cook stew beef in water to cover, until tender. Add vegetables to meat and cook until vegetables are tender. In a skillet, put oil and diced onions; fry until brown. Stir onion mixture into pot of meat and vegetables. Simmer 3 minutes or until stew has thickened.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Stew.
