Ingredients/Components

  • beef brisket - 4 6
  • liquid smoke - 2 Tbsp
  • onion salt - 1 tsp
  • garlic salt - 1 tsp
  • celery seed - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • Wrap tightly in foil and refrigerate overnight
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 1 bouillon
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • orange juice - 1/2 c
  • ketchup - 1/2 c
  • steak sauce - 1/4 c
  • lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item

How to make beef brisket:

Rub liquid smoke and seasoned salt on meat. Wrap tightly in foil and refrigerate overnight. The next day, add Worcestershire sauce and place in 250° oven in tightly wrapped foil for 5 hours. Allow no steam to escape. Slice and serve with Barbecue Sauce.Barbecue Sauce:1 medium onion, chopped1 clove garlic, minced1 Tbsp. butter1 beef bouillon cube, in 1 c. water1/2 c. brown sugar1/2 c. orange juice1/2 c. ketchup1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce1/4 c. steak sauce1 Tbsp. lemon juice salt and pepper to taste Place all ingredients in saucepan and simmer. Serve with brisket.
