Beef and macaroni casserole
Ingredients/Components
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 3/4 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 item
- grated cheese - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- hamburger - 1 lb
- elbow macaroni, cooked - 1 c
- Italian spices - 2 tsp
- drained tomatoes - 1 c
- approximately 4 slices cheese, cut fine
How to make beef and macaroni casserole:
Preheat oven to 425°. Cook onion in melted butter in skillet. Brown meat. Add spices and tomatoes. Cook for 3 minutes. Pour cooked macaroni into greased casserole dish. Spoon meat mixture over the macaroni and add tomato sauce and cheese bits. Mix well and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake 30 minutes.Procrastination: It is with our good intentions as with our dishes; tomorrow is but too often the hash of today.
