Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 3/4 pt
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
- rolled oats or wheat - 1 c
How to make batter bread:
Dissolve sugar and yeast in warm milk. Add beaten eggs to mixture and also butter. Sift flour and salt and add oats. Add gradually to liquids. Spread batter in greased pans and brush with melted butter. Let rise in pan for 1 hour before baking. Bake at 375° until light brown in color.Recipe categories: Breads, Low cholesterol, Yeast breads.
