Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- warm water
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make batter bread:
Measure water into a large mixing bowl. Sprinkle in yeast and stir until dissolved. Add margarine, sugar, salt and 2 cups flour. Beat for 2 minutes with electric mixer (medium speed). Blend in remaining flour. Cover; let rise until double. Stir down and spread in greased loaf pan. Let rise until double. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes or until loaf sounds hollow.
