  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • sliced fresh mushrooms - 1 c
  • beef bouillon - 3 c
  • pearl barley

How to make barley pilaf casserole:

Melt margarine in skillet. Add onions, mushrooms and barley. Cook on medium heat until highly browned. Place in casserole dish. Stir in salt and pepper. Cover. Bake 1 hour at 350°.
