Barbecued ribs
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- catsup - 1/2 c
- dash of hot pepper sauce - 1 item
- chili sauce - 1/2 c
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- ribs, cut into serving pieces - 3 lb
- garlic powder or 1 crushed garlic clove - 1/8 tsp
- prepared mustard or dry - 2 tsp
How to make barbecued ribs:
Cover ribs with water in large saucepan. Cover; simmer over medium-low heat for 1 hour. In nonmetallic pan, mix remaining ingredients. Drain ribs; place in sauce and coat each rib. Let cool. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Grill until brown and heated through, about 20 minutes. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Fruit, Meat, Pork.
