Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
- water - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1 tsp
- catsup - 1/4 c
- pinch of pepper - 1 item
- small white onions, peeled - 12 item
- slices bacon, diced and cooked crisp - 4 item
How to make barbecued onions:
Parboil onions 5 minutes. Drain and place in a buttered shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Mix catsup, water, vinegar, salt and pepper. Spread over onions. Sprinkle mixture with brown sugar and bacon.
