Barbecued meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- oatmeal - 1 c
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chili powder - 2 tsp
- ketchup
- ground beef - 3 lb
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
- liquid smoke - 1/2 tsp
How to make barbecued meatballs:
Sauce:2 c. ketchup1 c. brown sugar1/4 c. chopped onion1/2 tsp. liquid smoke1/2 tsp. garlic powder Combine all ingredients and shape into walnut size balls. Place in single layer on wax paper lined cookie sheet. Freeze until solid. Store frozen meatballs in freezer bag until ready to use.Sauce: Combine the 5 ingredients and stir until sugar is dissolved. Place frozen balls in 9 x 13-inch oblong dish. Pour on sauce. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Makes about 80 meatballs.
