Barbecued meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- oatmeal - 1 c
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chili powder - 2 tsp
- ketchup
- ground beef - 3 lb
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
- cracker crumbs - 1 c
- liquid smoke - 1/2 tsp
How to make barbecued meatballs:
Sauce:2 c. ketchup1 c. brown sugar1/2 tsp. liquid smoke1/2 tsp. garlic powder1/4 c. chopped onion To make meatballs, combine all ingredients (mixture will be soft) and shape into walnut sized balls. Place meatballs in a single layer on wax paper-lined cookie sheets. Freeze until solid.To make sauce, combine all ingredients and stir until sugar is dissolved. Place frozen meatballs in a 12 x 9 x 2-inch pan; pour on the sauce and bake for 1 hour at 350°. Yields 80 meatballs.
