Ingredients/Components
- margarine or butter - 1 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1/4 c
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- small green pepper, chopped optional - 1 item
- bottled barbecue sauce - 1/2 c
- cans chunk white chicken, drained - 2 oz
- hamburger buns, split and toasted - 4 item
How to make barbecued chicken sandwiches:
In 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot margarine, cook green pepper, celery and onion until tender. Add chicken and barbecue sauce. Heat through, stirring occasionally. Serve over buns.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Sandwich.
