Barbecue beans
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- sliced celery - 1/2 c
- dash of Tabasco - 1 item
- chopped green peppers - 1/4 c
- shredded cheese - 1 c
- clove minced garlic - 1 item
- large can pork and beans - 1 item
How to make barbecue beans:
Cook beef until brown. Add peppers, onions and celery; cook until limp. Stir rest of ingredients in; bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add meat sauce to beans; mix lightly. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 350°. Add cheese and melt.Recipe categories: Side dish, Beans, North american.
