- sugar - 1 c
- water - 3 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- peanuts - 1 item
- bananas, sliced thick - 6 item
How to make banana salad:
Cook first four ingredients in double boiler until thick. Serve warm over bananas; sprinkle nuts on top. It should be made just before eating. It is served at a famous smorgasbord on the Gulf.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Salads.
