  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • flour - 3 c
  • brown sugar - 2 tsp
  • oil
  • soda
  • lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
  • Mix well
  • grated apples - 3 item
  • orange or lemon juice - 1 item

How to make fresh apple cake:

Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Pour into a greased and floured loaf or tube pan. Bake in 350° oven for 60 to 70 minutes.Glaze:1/2 c. white sugar2 tsp. brown sugar orange or lemon juice Mix sugar, brown sugar, orange or lemon juice to moisten in saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Pour over warm cake.
