Banana bread
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- buttermilk - 1/4 c
- nuts optional - 1/2 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- white sugar - 1 c
- plain flour, sifted - 2 c
- soda, dissolved in buttermilk - 1 tsp
- large or 3 small bananas, mashed - 2 item
How to make banana bread:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add mashed bananas, nuts, flour and soda (dissolved in the buttermilk) and flavoring. Bake in a greased loaf pan in 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
