- sugar
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- buttermilk - 1 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- egg - 1 item
- mashed ripe banana - 1 c
- 1/2 sticks melted oleo - 1 item
How to make banana bread:
Mash bananas thoroughly; melt oleo. Add sugar, egg, flour, soda, salt, vanilla, buttermilk, bananas and nuts; mix well. Bake at 325° for 1 hour in 2 small greased and floured loaf pans or in Bundt pan; let cool before removing from pan.Recipe categories: Breads, Fruit, Quick breads.
