- shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- spaghetti - 1 lb
- tomato soup - 2 (10
- large red onion - 1 item
- large green bell pepper - 1 item
- medium jar pimentos - 1 item
- jar pimento olives - 1 oz
- stems celery heart - 8 item
How to make baked spaghetti casserole:
Cook spaghetti in water enough to limber it, breaking the lengths into 1/4 size length. When limber, drain. Add tomato soup in same pot and mix well. Chop onions, pepper, celery, olives and, if needed, the pimentos, into small pieces, keeping one oversize piece of celery separate.In a dish or pan about 11 1/2 x 7 x 3 1/2-inch, place thin layer of spaghetti mixture. Spread thin layer of chopped vegetables, pimentos and cheese. Repeat layers, ending with cheese. Place large piece of celery on top. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour. When done, should have browned cheese covering casserole. Can be served hot or cold.
