Baked spaghetti
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- tomato sauce - 1 can
- cup milk - 1/2 item
- shredded mozzarella cheese
- meatless spaghetti sauce - 1 jar
- spaghetti broken into thirds - 8 oz
- bulk italian sausage - 1/2 lb
- Cup chopped green pepper - 1/4 item
How to make baked spaghetti:
Cook spaghetti according to direction on package, drain. In a large bowl, beat the egg, milk and salt. Add spaghetti and toss to coat. Transfer to a greased 13 X 9 inch baking pan or dish. In a large skillet, cook the beef, sausage, onion and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink, drain. Add spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce, mix well. Spoon over the spaghetti mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 degree for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with the cheese. Bake 10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
