Ingredients/Components
- bread crumbs - 2 c
- mushrooms, sliced - 24 item
- white wine - 2 c
- scallops - 2 lb
- shallots, chopped - 2 item
- dry grated cheese Romano or Parmesan - 1/4 c
How to make baked scallops:
Wash and pat dry scallops; simmer in wine 5 minutes. Drain and save liquid. Add mushrooms and shallots; simmer 20 minutes. In shallow baking dish, place scallops; pour mushroom mixture over and top with bread crumbs. When ready to serve, place pat of butter on top and broil until crisp.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Main dish, Scallops.
