Baked potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 7 c
- sour cream - 8 oz
- butter or margarine - 1/3 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 2/3 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- green onions, sliced - 4 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- cooked and crumbled bacon strips - 12 item
How to make baked potato soup:
In large saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour. Heat and stir until smooth. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add potatoes and green onions. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and stir until cheese is melted. Serve at once.
