Ingredients/Components
- milk - 7 c
- sour cream - 8 oz
- butter or margarine
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 2/3 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- peeled & cubed baked potatoes - 4 c
- green onions finely sliced - 4 item
- strips cooked bacon crumbled - 12 item
How to make baked potato soup:
In al large kettle melt butter. Stir in flour. Heat and stir until smooth. Add milk, stirring until thickened. Add potatoes and onions. Bring just to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer 5 minutes; stirring constantly. Add remaining ingredients. stir until cheese is melted. Served hot.Recipe categories: Potato, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
