Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1 c
- bottle catsup - 1 oz
- onions, cut up - 1/2 lb
- dry lima beans wash beans - 1 lb
- bacon optional, diced reserve a few strips for top - 1 item
How to make baked lima beans:
Soak beans overnight in plenty of water. Cook for 1 hour, adding more water if necessary until tender. Remove from stove and add balance of ingredients. Mix; pour into baking pan and bake for 1 hour at 350°.Recipe categories: Side dish, Beans, Amish/mennonite.
