Ingredients/Components
- salt
- water - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- parsley flakes - 1 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- cottage cheese
- basil - 1 Tbsp
- cans tomato paste - 2 oz
- lasagna noodles, cooked and drained - 8 oz
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- Mozzarella cheese, grated - 1 lb
How to make baked lasagna:
Cheese Mixture:1 (16 oz.) cottage cheese1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese2 eggs, beaten2 Tbsp. parsley flakes2 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. pepper1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated Brown meat in a heavy pan, stirring frequently. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, water, basil, salt, parsley flakes and garlic. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. `Blend ingredients for cheese mixture, except Mozzarella cheese. Place 1/2 of noodles in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Top with 1/2 of cheese mixture, and 1/2 of meat mixture and 1/2 of Mozzarella. Repeat layers ending with Mozzarella. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
