Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 1/2 c
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • eggs, well beaten - 4 item
  • oleo, melted - 1 c
  • pecans, chopped - 1 c
  • boiling water for baking only - 1 item

How to make baked fudge:

In medium bowl, with wooden spoon, beat eggs, sugar, flour, cocoa and salt until well blended. Mix in butter; add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Bake in 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan, set in a pan of boiling water. Bake 45 minutes or until it is set like custard and crust on top at 325°. Cool 20 minutes, then refrigerate.
