Ingredients/Components
- caramels - 1 lb
- water - 2 Tbsp
- cashews or pecans - 3/4 lb
- pkg - 1 oz
How to make turtles:
Heat caramels and water in double boiler; stir until melted. Grease baking sheet. Arrange 36 groups of 4 nuts, 2-inches apart. Drop caramel by teaspoonfuls. Let turtle cool 15 minutes. (Reheat caramel, if necessary.) Melt chocolate chips over hot, not boiling water. Drop by teaspoons on each turtle. Makes 36.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Candy.
