Strawberry congealed salad

Ingredients/Components

• cream cheese - 1 (8
• chopped pecans - 1 c
• sour cream - 1/2 pt
• boiling water - 2 c
• frozen strawberries - 2 pkg
• small can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
• strawberry Jell-O small - 2 pkg

How to make strawberry congealed salad:

Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Add frozen strawberries and blend until berries are thawed. Put into this mixture the drained pineapple and pecans; pour 1/2 into a bowl and refrigerate until jellied. Whip together cream cheese and sour cream until well blended, then spread on the top of jellied mixture. Then make a third layer with the other 1/2 of mixture and chill again.
