Bacon and cheese bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- all-purpose flour
- quick oats - 3/4 c
- 4 oz - 1 c
- slices bacon, cooked and crumbled - 6 item
How to make bacon and cheese bread:
Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine eggs, milk and oil. Add to oat mixture, stirring just enough to moisten dry ingredients. Spoon batter into greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
