Artichoke squares
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 5 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese - 2 c
- dash of hot pepper sauce - 1 item
- small onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
- seasoned bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- jars marinated artichoke hearts - 2 oz
- chopped parsley 1 Tbsp - 3 Tbsp
How to make artichoke squares:
Drain artichokes, reserving marinade from one jar. Saute onion in marinade. Cut up artichokes. Beat eggs and add crumbs and seasonings. Stir in cheese, sauteed onion and artichokes. Turn into a greased 11 x 7-inch baking pan. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes. Cool slightly before cutting into squares.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, For large groups, Appetizers.
