Apricot walnut bread
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- water - 2/3 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- egg whites - 4 item
- chopped walnuts - 1/4 c
- quick oatmeal - 3/4 c
- orange juice - 1/2 c
- chopped dried apricots - 1/2 c
How to make apricot walnut bread:
Combine the first 5 ingredients. Stir in oatmeal and apricots. Combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder and baking soda. Stir in apricot mixture just until moistened. Fold in nuts. Pour into a greased loaf pan (8 x 4 x 2-inch). Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes or until done. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then remove to wire rack.Recipe categories: Breads, Holiday, Breakfast.
