  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • water - 2/3 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1/4 c
  • egg whites - 4 item
  • chopped walnuts - 1/4 c
  • quick oatmeal - 3/4 c
  • orange juice - 1/2 c
  • chopped dried apricots - 1/2 c

How to make apricot walnut bread:

Combine the first 5 ingredients. Stir in oatmeal and apricots. Combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder and baking soda. Stir in apricot mixture just until moistened. Fold in nuts. Pour into a greased loaf pan (8 x 4 x 2-inch). Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes or until done. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then remove to wire rack.
