  • sugar - 1 c
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • flour
  • oil - 3 Tbsp
  • baking powder
  • egg - 1 item
  • grated orange peel - 4 tsp
  • orange juice - 3/4 c
  • finely chopped dried apricots - 1 c

How to make apricot nut bread:

Heat oven to 350°. Grease and flour 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Measure all ingredients into large mixer bowl. Beat on medium speed 1/2 minute, scraping side and bottom of bowl constantly. Pour into pan. Bake 55 to 65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan. Cool thoroughly before slicing.
