Refrigerator biscuits
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- Crisco - 1 c
- warm water - 1/2 c
- yeast - 3 pkg
- unsifted self-rising flour - 5 c
- lukewarm buttermilk - 2 c
How to make refrigerator biscuits:
Dissolve yeast in warm water; set aside. Mix flour, sugar and soda; cut in Crisco, then add buttermilk and yeast. Roll out dough; cut out biscuits. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.Use as much as desired. Mixture can be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
