Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• cinnamon - 2 tsp
• salt - 3/4 tsp
• flour
• nutmeg - 2 tsp
• pecans - 3 c
• liquid shortening - 1 c
• applesauce* - 2 c
• allspice or cloves - 1 tsp
• soda* - 2 tsp

How to make applesauce cake:

*Put soda in applesauce and let turn dark.

Mix ingredients and bake in ungreased Bundt or loaf pan at 325° for 75 minutes.
