Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- oil - 1/4 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- raisins - 1/2 c
- honey - 1/2 c
- applesauce - 1 c
- sea salt - 1/4 tsp
- pastry flour - 2 c
- each cloves and allspice - 1/4 tsp
How to make applesauce cake:
Oil 9 x 9 pan and preheat oven to 350°. Sift together the dry ingredients and set aside. In a medium sized bowl, combine the oil, honey and applesauce. Beat the egg and stir into the oil mixture. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients. Fold in the raisins and nuts. Pour the batter into the pan. Bake for 40 minutes.
