  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • water - 1 item
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • powdered sugar - 3 c
  • lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
  • walnuts, chopped - 1 c
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
  • butter, creamed - 4 Tbsp
  • diced apples - 4 c

How to make apple walnut cake:

Mix apples and sugar; let stand. Mix flour, nuts, oil, eggs, soda, cinnamon and vanilla. Add apples; bake 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350°. Mix butter, powdered sugar, lemon juice and enough water to spread to make icing. This cake is moist.
