  • butter flavor shortening - 1 c
  • sugar - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • peanut butter - 1 c

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Cream shortening, eggs and vanilla. Stir in peanut butter. Sift dry ingredients, stir into creamed mixture. Shape 1 teaspoon of dough into a ball. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press dough with floured fork to make a crisscross. Bake at 350° f
