Apple stuffed pork chops
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- ground cinnamon - 1/8 tsp
- orange juice - 2 Tbsp
- shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- melted butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- chopped apple - 1/2 c
- seedless golden raisins - 2 Tbsp
- toasted 1/2-inch bread cubes
- 1/2-inch thick pork chops, cut with pockets - 6 item
How to make apple stuffed pork chops:
Combine bread cubes, apple, cheese and raisins. Sprinkle with salt and cinnamon. Add orange juice and butter. Stir until bread cubes are coated.Season pockets of pork chops with salt and pepper. Stuff with bread cube mixture. Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. Place in a shallow baking dish. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cover and bake an additional 15 minutes. Yields 6 servings.
