Apple walnut stuffing
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- water - 1 c
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- butter or oleo - 1/2 c
- onion, chopped - 1 c
- sliced celery - 1 c
- apple juice - 3/4 1
- chopped apple - 2 c
- instant chicken flavored bouillon or 3 chicken flavored bouillon cubes - 1 Tbsp
How to make apple walnut stuffing:
In large skillet, cook celery and onion in margarine until tender. Add water and bouillon; cook until bouillon dissolves. In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients; add celery mixture. Mix well. Loosely stuff turkey just before roasting; place remaining stuffing in greased baking dish; bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until hot. Refrigerate leftovers.
