Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- cream cheese - 4 oz
- butter - 1 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- honey - 2 Tbsp
- orange juice - 1/3 c
- sliced apples
How to make apple pie:
In a large bowl, combine 1/2 cup butter and cream cheese and let come to room temperature. Add 2 cups flour and blend well. Chill. Roll out half the dough and place in a 9-inch pie plate. Reserve the rest for the top.In a saucepan, combine remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour mixture into the crust. Roll out the remaining crust and place over filling. Cut slits in the top to let steam escape. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
