Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • oil
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • nuts, chopped - 1 c
  • apples - 3 c
  • Fold in chopped pecans and chopped apples

How to make apple dapple cake:

Combine first 7 ingredients and blend with electric mixer. Fold in chopped pecans and chopped apples. Pour in tube pan and bake at 350° for 1 hour or until done.Glaze:1 c. brown sugar1/4 c. milk1 stick margarine Mix and cook 3 minutes. Pour hot sauce over hot cake and let set for 2 hours.
