Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- brown sugar
- oil
- soda - 1 tsp
- nutmeats optional
- Delicious apples, peeled and chopped or grated - 3 item
How to make apple dapple cake:
Topping:1 c. brown sugar1 stick margarine1/4 c. milk Combine and cook topping ingredients for 2 minutes.Cake: Mix eggs, oil and sugar and blend well. Sift flour, salt, soda and add to egg mixture. Add apples, vanilla and nutmeats. Mix well. Pour into Bundt pan or 9-inch tube pan, greased and floured. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Pour topping over cake while still warm.
