Streusel-filled coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- firmly packed brown sugar
- sifted flour
- butter, melted
- margarine soft - 1/4 c
How to make streusel-filled coffee cake:
Streusel Mixture:1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar2 Tbsp. flour2 tsp. cinnamon1 1/2 Tbsp. butter, melted Mix sugar, margarine and egg together until well blended. Stir in milk. Add flour, baking powder and salt and mix well.Mix the four streusel mixture ingredients together in a small bowl.
Spread half the batter in a greased and floured 9-inch square or round pan. Sprinkle with half the streusel mixture. Add the rest of the batter and then the remaining streusel mixture. Bake at 375° for 25 to 35 minutes.
Double all ingredients for a 9 x 13-inch pan.
