Apple coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil
- margarine
- apples, peeled and chopped - 3 c
How to make apple coffee cake:
Topping:1/2 c. margarine1/4 c. milk1 c. packed brown sugar In mixing bowl, beat eggs until foamy; gradually add sugar. Blend in oil and vanilla. Combine flour, salt and soda. Add to egg mixture. Stir in apples and pecans. Pour into greased 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.For topping, combine in saucepan. Boil 3 minutes. Stir constantly. Pour slowly over warm cake.
