sugar - 1 c
cinnamon - 1 tsp
eggs - 2 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
butter or margarine - 1 c
chopped nuts - 1/3 c
flour - 2 c
baking powder - 1 tsp
baking soda - 1 tsp
white sugar - 4 Tbsp
apples, peeled and sliced - 2 item
sour cream or yogurt - 1 c
Add eggs and vanilla mix well

How to make apple coffee cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla mix well. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream.Topping:1/2 c. brown sugar1/3 c. chopped nuts4 Tbsp. white sugar1 tsp. cinnamon2 apples, peeled and sliced Mix first 4 topping ingredients together.

Grease and flour an angel food cake pan with removable bottom. Put half of the batter in pan. Lay apple slices on batter and sprinkle half of the topping over them. Add remaining batter and sprinkle the rest of the topping on it. Bake in a 350° oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
